here's something..

May be by pure coincidence, but I happened to see Dr. Randy Pausch's "Last Lecture"...

And then I thought, what I heard before and what I said in the post before was all very true, It's the attitude and the approach to various scenarios that we come across in life that should change... And people who put it to practice succeed..

If it touches you when a man uses terms like "childhood dreams",and "how to achieve your childhood dreams", this lecture is a must see... And when the "Role-Play" on earth is about to wind up, just before the curtains fall, If you too want to share the belief "I'm dying soon, but I choose to have as much fun as I can", do not hesitate to look up this lecture...

Oprah Winfrey invited him to give "The Last Lecture" again, wouldn't you like to give him a shot...

May be life might change a bit for the better... :)

here, let me take you one step closer...

The Last Lecture : Randy Pausch

hmmmm?

I agree with most people who say life is not very easy... people talk of a lot of troubles, as if life were a vehicle, and God gave each of us the one with the most number of defects and dents.... and then I pause for a moment and think, what part of it would the complainer like to change...

Sounds like a Beauty Pageant question, :)

I've run in my mind the complaints and the possible alternate scenarios I could have chosen in my life... cannot say that I have no regrets in life... but haven't I survived most of them, ya, as life goes on "Dr. Time" heals and helps us forget... cliche' but true..

And once I run all the alternate scenarios in my mind, the component to be changed pops up automatically, "Attitude"...

"Be Positive" two words that have been used and used and used, over and over and over again... but each time its used, it seems like something bookish, a "cannot be put to practice" word, or is it?

Which indicates that "Positive Attitude" must be a concept that all the people in the world must have heard atleast once in their lifetime... i've heard of it in professional training sessions, school & college lectures, catechism classes... If it's so often taught, why is it difficult to adopt?

"a rose rimmed life" is my attempt to take a hit at it, and also learn from my life and other's anecdotes, all this while having fun and living life to the fullest, and as much as possible, on my terms... :)

See you around soon...
